Apologies from Mexican Leaders to Claudia Sheinbaum

The senator of the Republic from Morena and president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo), Adán Augusto López, along with Manuel Velasco, coordinator of the Mexican Ecologist Green Party in the Senate, and Ricardo Monreal, publicly apologized to President Claudia Sheinbaum for not paying attention upon arriving at the Zócalo of Mexico City to begin an informational assembly.

Adán Augusto López expressed through his social media: "In the emotion of the moment we never heard that you were already in the heart of the Homeland." Velasco, for his part, was the first to publicly apologize, acknowledging that they did not notice when Sheinbaum passed near them during the unity event.

Ricardo Monreal, although he did not directly apologize, sent a message of support to the president, emphasizing the importance of her speech and its impact on national unity. He also highlighted that Sheinbaum has made significant decisions for the country, receiving his absolute respect.

Meanwhile, Luisa María Alcalde, national leader of Morena, defended Sheinbaum and accused the opposition of trying to divert attention from the event, stating that a lapse in protocol does not diminish the affection expressed by the people. Alcalde emphasized that the assembly was an act of unity that called together more than 350,000 people in support of the president.

Despite the incident, in which Claudia Sheinbaum was momentarily ignored, the involved politicians have acknowledged their mistake and shown their support for the leader, highlighting her leadership and the important decisions she has made for the benefit of the nation.
